We’ve seen the 14, 15 and 16 so next is....the 17.
Just like the 15 with a couple of changes. Here you go. 15 first, then 17.
Yes, the headlights and the grilles (what the French referred to as grilles de custode ) over the rear side windows which were also made much smaller to the benefit of style and to the expense of being able to actually see out.
Also, the largest engined model was the first Renault to have fuel injection.
* It wasn’t the 17 everywhere. The Italians think that the number 17 is unlucky so they got a 177 instead.

I have a soft spot for the 17 because the matchbox version I had was the fastest car in my fleet. But the 15 looks soooo much better with all of that glass.

I think the theory was that the basic one got the full sized windows because boring and sensible while the 17 got something different. With louvres , because louvres are good. Even if they weren't called that in French....
